Several awards are available including: Mayor’s Art Purchase Award, 1st Place Category Awards (Oil & Acrylics, Watercolor, Pastels, Mixed Media, Sculptures/3-Dimensional & Miscellaneous), Sponsor Awards, and People’s & Student Choice Awards.
Artwork will be displayed for public viewing April 28 through May 9 at the Lathrop City Hall; Monday through Thursday from 8am to 6pm and Friday 8am to 5pm. A reception for artists and invited guests will be held on Friday, May 9 from 6-8pm.

The Lathrop Senior Advisory Commission (SAC) is sponsoring a Mother’s Day Luncheon on Saturday, May 10, 2008 from 1-4PM at the Lathrop Senior Center (15707 Fifth Street, Lathrop). Mothers are encouraged to bring their daughters or granddaughters with them to share this special event.
